- Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt had their faces touched up in a promotional photo for „Once Upon a Time in America.“
- Both had their chins tightened up and Pitt had some wrinkles removed.
- Sony Pictures said the actors hadn’t requested them and take full responsibility for the changes.
- The editing was noticed because the wrong version of the image was uploaded to promotional sites.
Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio both had their bodies Photoshopped in a promotional image for Quentin Tarantino’s forthcoming movie „Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,“ according to image data reviewed by Page Six.
DiCaprio’s chin was made to look smaller than usual. Someone tightened up Pitt’s chin as well and removed wrinkles from his neck.
Sony Pictures, which is producing the movie, told Page Six that the actors didn’t request to be Photoshopped and that they take full responsibility for the changes. A representative for DiCaprio told Page Six that he wasn’t aware the image was touched up.

The edits were visible because Sony apparently uploaded the wrong version of the image file onto publicity sites, where members of the press could download them. With those versions of the pictures, the changes were visible to anyone who viewed them in Photoshop. That version has since been taken down and replaced by a version of the photo that doesn’t reveal the edit history.
„Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,“ which is scheduled for a July 2019 release date, marks the first time DiCaprio and Pitt will appear together in a feature-length film. It’s a Hollywood-set drama set at the same time as the Charles Manson murders in 1969. The movie also stars Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate, who was featured in her own promotional photo this week.
